School Handbook

Welcome to the School Year!

Welcome to Cambridge-Isanti High School (CIHS). Our highly qualified staff are dedicated to ensuring that every student reaches their full potential. Our school is located in the heart of Cambridge, MN. The close proximity to downtown allows for a variety of activities, field trips, and strong partnerships with local businesses and community organizations.

Cambridge-Isanti High School enrolls approximately 1,500 students in grades 9-12. In partnership with our community, our mission is to educate, empower and inspire every student, every day. High-level relationships are at the forefront of everything at CIHS, and our enthusiastic staff guides students as they prepare for future success.

Thanks to dedicated support and funding, we are redefining career and college ready. Our students have the opportunity to earn up to 66 college credits through PSEO and concurrent enrollment, in addition to Advanced Placement and College In Schools. We offer four career tech pathways: engineering, manufacturing and technology; business, management and administration; health science, human services, agriculture and natural resources; and arts, communications and information technology. Students benefit from partnerships with our regional medical center, leading manufacturers, local businesses and county agencies.

With more than 70 arts, athletics, and extracurricular activities, CIHS is a member of the Mississippi 8 Conference. Multiple athletic fields, gyms, a swimming pool, and a performing arts center unite our community. It’s always a great day to be Bluejacket!
